JAGS is a family-run coffee shop and guest house in Skidegate, Haida Gwaii. What started as a small garden shop in 1996 has grown into a place where guests can settle in, enjoy an all-day breakfast, grab a good coffee and some homemade baking, and
enjoy their time on the islands.
We’re a small, locally owned business, and that’s how we like it.

What started as a small garden shop in 1996 has grown into JAGS Coffee Shop & Guest Rooms — a family-run business in the heart of Skidegate. Over the years, it has grown into the place it is today — a little bigger, a little busier, but still proudly family run.
Our coffee shop is open Monday to Friday, serving all-day breakfast, espresso and homemade baking. Alongside it, our 12 guest rooms give visitors a comfortable place to stay while discovering Haida Gwaii.
Whether you're visiting for work, adventure, or a quiet escape, we aim to make your stay easy, comfortable, and memorable — so you can slow down, settle in, and enjoy the quiet charm of island life.
